We’re looking for passionate Mandarin Chinese tutors in Auckland Central for 1-2 hours per week. This is a great opportunity for university students or anyone looking to gain teaching experience while making an impact on Kiwi students aged 5 to young teens who are excited to learn Mandarin. Hours may increase based on your performance.

At Pistachio Mandarin Language Centre, we offer Mandarin Chinese tuition primarily focused on conversational topics. As a young and growing entrepreneurial business with a family-oriented culture, we are committed to supporting your growth through training.

We’re seeking a tutor with:

• A positive attitude
• A creative approach to teaching
• The ability to design engaging lesson plans tailored to students at different learning levels.

Strong class management skills are a must. Using interactive activities such as role-play, games, songs, quizzes, and videos, you’ll quickly become a favourite among students. Creating a fun and engaging learning environment is key.

You don’t need to be a native Mandarin speaker, but proficiency to fluency in the language is essential.

Classes are held on Saturdays at 9:30 a.m. in Epsom, with additional classes available in Auckland Central and online at other times.

Pay: $37.60 per lesson (including an hour of teaching and lesson preparation) for group physical classes.
